Beavers, Bruins Confirm Trade Friday, November 29th, 2024 The Baffin Island Beavers and the Los Angeles Bruins have made a major deal. The clubs announced that 30-year-old 1B Jerry Bryan will go to the Bruins in return for 28-year-old LF Tony Abete. "It's a good trade for both clubs," said the Baffin Island GM. His all-time numbers show Bryan has compiled a .286 batting average and collected 980 hits, 145 home runs and 522 RBIs. In his career Abete has racked up 120 hits with a .202 average and .266 on-base percentage. His numbers include 20 doubles, 5 triples, and 29 home runs, along with 88 runs scored and 85 RBIs. |
