Silva Gets Award for Relief Work Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 His manager and teammates call Ramón Silva a true bullpen ace. The Continental League calls him the winner of the Reliever of the Year Award for 2024. The St. Louis Browns relief specialist out of Havana, Cuba, won the award with 6 saves in 81 relief appearances, 156 strikeouts in 135 innings and 58 walks. He compiled a record of 9 wins and 3 losses and had a 2.27 ERA. Pierre Deschênes of the Greenville 84s finished second in voting, while Brent Miller of the St. Louis Browns finished third. |
