Derek Davidson Chosen CL's Top Player Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 Derek Davidson took Baseball Stars Association by storm this year and he did it all at the age of 24. For his spectacular campaign, the Springfield Stars star has been named the 2024 Continental League MVP Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is pretty overwhelming," said the right fielder. On the season he compiled a .348 batting average to go with a .403 on-base percentage. The native of North Scituate, Massachusetts also added 37 doubles, 9 triples, 42 home runs, 157 RBIs and 125 runs scored. Jorge Martínez of the Toronto Titans finished second in voting, while Dave Dodd of the Jersey Shore D-Bags finished third. |
