NL Cy Young Award Winner Announced Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 The Irvine Gang Green have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Masutaro Koyama, this year's National League Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Koyama compiled a 18-10 record in 33 starts, tallied 277 strikeouts in 244 innings and recorded a 2.40 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .193 batting average against him. Dillon Nelson of the Los Cabos Cartel finished second in voting, while Robert Reeves of the Baffin Island Beavers finished third. |
