"There's so much pride in our room and on our roster, anything but a division title wouldn't have been acceptable," said reliever José Valdéz. "In the playoffs we'll just have to take it one day at a time and keep battling." The Bruins this year have battled to a 104-57 mark, which is good for the club's 13th National League Western Division title.
