St Charles Bats Silenced by Aldridge Friday, September 20th, 2024 Stan Aldridge was dynamite today and just blew St Charles away in the 4-0 victory. The Maui Tropics starter had everything working as he hurled a 4-hit shutout over the Sheens, recording 5 strikeouts and 1 walk. "He was pure nasty out there today. I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing," said the St Charles skipper during his postgame press conference. Thus far this season, Aldridge has tossed 210.2 innings in 32 starts, fanned 156 batters, walked 42 and put up a 2.56 ERA with 14 wins and 8 losses. |
