RP Juan Velázquez Hurt Monday, September 16th, 2024 Whether he wants it or not, Juan Velázquez of the Los Cabos Cartel will be getting some R & R -- rest and relaxation. The reliever was hurt in today's Cartel-Knights game while throwing a pitch. Team officials announced after the game that Velázquez had suffered a stretched elbow ligament and would be out of action for 11 months. During this season he has made 49 relief appearances, earning a 1-3 record with 3 saves. In 72.2 innings Velázquez has struck out 63 with a 4.83 ERA. |
