NL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, September 16th, 2024 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Boston left fielder Bill Wilson. He went on a rampage last week against NL hurlers and rapped out 16 hits in 30 at-bats for a .533 average while hitting 4 home runs, driving in 12 runs and scoring 9 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the National League Player of the Week trophy. Wilson was honored today at a press conference. So far this year, Wilson is batting .330 with 12 home runs and 73 RBIs. |
