Continental League Picks Top Performer Monday, September 9th, 2024 24-year-old José Santos sent shock waves through Baseball Stars Association last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Continental League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Santos made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .517 average, 15 hits in 29 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 runs batted in. Where the Madison Bombers right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Santos certainly made his mark last week. So far this season Santos is hitting .293 with 6 home runs. |
