Román Picked NL Player of the Week Monday, September 9th, 2024 Manolo Román of the Hendersonville Hitmen was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Román put up some great numbers and hauled in the National League Player of the Week trophy. He hit .455 with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. The 27-year-old third baseman also scored 10 runs and for the week went 10-for-22. In his stats this season, Román has posted a batting average of .280 with 146 hits in 521 at-bats, 28 home runs and 84 RBIs. He has also scored 74 runs, walked 63 times and compiled a .369 OBP. |
