Bad News for Birmingham, Garrett Injured Sunday, September 8th, 2024 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Glenn Garrett of the Steeldogs knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Madison Bombers while making a defensive play. Because of an elbow sprain, the Birmingham center fielder is expected to miss 3 weeks. Garrett was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." On the season, Garrett is batting .232 with no home runs and 26 RBIs. He has played in 108 games. |
