Hernández Batters Madison for 5 Hits Saturday, August 31st, 2024 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Plymouth's Frederico Hernández had a very special day against the Bombers when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Plymouth Rocks to a 12-9 win at Play Rocks Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Hernández said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Frederico Hernández singled in the 2nd, tripled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 9th and singled in the 11th. This year Hernández has hit at a .296 clip with 149 hits, 17 home runs, 69 RBIs and 68 runs scored. |
