Big Day for Moss: Swats 5 Hits Saturday, May 13th, 2023 No matter what the Bishop Gorman HS threw at him today, Guy Moss hit it. He easily handled Bishop Gorman HS pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Knights to a 26-17 triumph at Classics Ballpark. He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball." The Bishop Gorman HS skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we might just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure." Guy Moss flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, flied out in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and doubled in the 9th. Moss is batting .304 this season in 40 games with 4 home runs, 41 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 49 hits in 161 at-bats. |
