MacGregor Slaps 5 Hits Friday, May 5th, 2023 Santa Fe HS right fielder Corey MacGregor put on quite a show at Ballpark of The Hills HS with a big 5-hit day in the 25-8 victory over the Mountain Pointe HS. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate, 5 for 5.. Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average ... and my salary, too." Corey MacGregor hit a two-run double in the 1st, walked in the 1st, singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Elmer Ramírez in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. In this current campaign MacGregor is hitting at a .440 clip with 7 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
