Vázquez Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Saturday, April 22nd, 2023 Héctor Vázquez's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Coweta HS third baseman smacked 1 hit against Spanish Fork HS in today's game at Typhoons Ballpark to extend it, but he has mixed emotions about it. After losing to the Spanish Fork HS, Vázquez told reporters, "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose." Héctor Vázquez flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, walked in a run in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Currently Vázquez is batting .444 with 5 home runs and 37 RBIs. |
