Auburn Devastated by Playoff Elimination Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 Members of the Auburn sat in stunned silence in their clubhouse with the knowledge that their chance at a playoff berth this year is now over. "We really thought we had the team to get into the playoffs," said Dave Smeddon. The Tigers have missed the playoffs 12 times in their 16 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2021. In the last 10 seasons, the Tigers have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
