No Late-Season Magic Coming: Kentucky Out of Playoffs Thursday, May 25th, 2023 Members of the Kentucky sat in stunned silence in their clubhouse with the knowledge that their chance at a playoff berth this year is now over. "We really thought we had the team to get into the playoffs," said Jim Fitzgerald. Kentucky last appeared in the postseason in 2020. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 7 times in their 16-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Wildcats have missed the playoffs 2 times. |
