Texas Tech Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Sunday, May 14th, 2023 The Texas Tech Red Raiders certainly didn't have what it takes to make a postseason run this year. The team has been mathematically eliminated from contention. Texas Tech last appeared in the postseason in 2015. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 13 times in their 16-year history.
