Víctor Méndez Out for 8 Months Monday, May 8th, 2023 Disappointing news today for Oklahoma State Cowboys fans. Víctor Méndez was hurt throwing a pitch in their game against the Louisiana State Tigers and has a ruptured bicep tendon. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the starting pitcher out at least 8 months. Méndez has gone 0-3 this season with an ERA of 5.12 and 32 strikeouts in 31.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .254 against him. |
