The heavy-hitting Iowa State third baseman added a lot of firepower and excitement to today's 8-5 win over the Bulldogs. Fans and foes alike are still buzzing about his standout performance at Foley Field. He told reporters, "I've been working on my swing ... trying to keep it short, compact and simple. It worked today." For the game he had 3 hits in 3 at-bats, drove in 5, and scored 3 runs.
