Hanson Belts 3 HR Against Florida Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 Florida won't soon forget the display of raw power put on today by Conan Hanson of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He victimized the Gators by pounding three pitches out of McKethan Stadium. The homers sparked his club to a 10-7 win and got him noticed for the power barrage. "I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Hanson told reporters. "Today I was in a groove ... tomorrow I could just pop up the same pitches and go oh-for-three." In addition to the homers, he collected 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Conan Hanson hit a two-run home run off Miguel Negrón in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off John Wright in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off John Wright in the 8th. Hanson is currently batting .259 with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. |
