Ortíz Cracks 5 Hits Friday, April 14th, 2023 Bulldogs right fielder Jesús Ortíz went ballistic today with the bat. He smoked the Wolverines for 5 hits and sparked Georgia to a 12-10 win over Michigan at Foley Field. Jesús Ortíz doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th. For the season Ortíz is currently batting .353 with no home runs and 15 RBIs. In 12 games he has reached base at a .389 rate and scored 5 runs to date. |
