Taylor Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Saturday, April 8th, 2023 Sean Taylor told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Taylor of the Iowa State Cyclones did against the Arkansas Razorbacks. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, much to the chagrin of the Razorbacks, who suffered a 3-2 defeat. "Not much that I can say," offered the losing manager, "he just hammered the heck out of us." Sean Taylor singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Francisco Álvarez in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. So far this year Taylor has hit .429 with 1 home run, 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored. |
