August's Top Starter is Hull Friday, September 1st, 2023 Over the past month Brian Hull has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Pioneer League. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Eau Claire Esquires posted 4-0 mark and a 1.04 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 34.2 innings, permitted 22 hits and fanned 30 batters. To date this year in 19 starts, Hull has crafted a 7-5 mark with a 2.71 ERA. |
