5-Hit Blitz by Hensley Friday, September 1st, 2023 Louisville left fielder Peter Hensley put on quite a show at Stade Beaulac with a big 5-hit day in the 30-11 victory over the Tolland Singrays. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate, 5 for 7.. Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average ... and my salary, too." Peter Hensley singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. This season Hensley is batting at a .322 clip with 14 home runs and 96 RBIs. |
