MSL Player of the Week Named Monday, August 7th, 2023 So far in his young career, Luis Alou has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Midwest League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Erie Jaxx left fielder hit at a torrid .545 clip as he collected 12 hits in 22 at-bats, no home runs, 10 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This year Alou is batting .248 with 105 hits, 2 home runs, 60 RBIs, 64 walks, .344 OBP and has scored 61 runs. |
