Costello on a Hot Streak, MSL Player of the Week Monday, July 31st, 2023 Midwest League pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Juan Costello of the Bemidji Benders out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 22-year-old second baseman boasted a .429 average with 3 home runs, 4 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Costello went 9-for-21 for the week. Thus far this year Costello is hitting .240 with 9 home runs, 41 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
