LightSabres Center Fielder Carranza Hurt Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 After the end of today's game between Buffalo and Reading, Pedro Carranza skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after making a defensive play, the LightSabres had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The center fielder will miss at least 5 months with a partially torn labrum. This year Carranza has socked 63 hits in 262 at-bats for a .240 average with 5 home runs.
