SNL's #1 Batter Chosen Saturday, July 1st, 2023 When Robert Johnson stepped up to the plate in June, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Southern League Batter of the Month award. The young Santa Fe catcher posted a .462 batting average with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 28 runs. Johnson also worked pitchers for 19 walks to post a .567 on-base percentage. Presently Johnson is batting .443 with 51 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 22 runs and scored 40 times. |
