Ramírez Outstanding, No-Hits Diablos Monday, August 21st, 2023 It was a fantastic day for Octávio Ramírez of the West Palm Reds and a lousy day for the Santa Fe Diablos. His pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered them in the 8-0 win. When it was over he was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter. "The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go." Ramírez rang up 12 strikeouts and allowed 2 walks while shutting Santa Fe down at Las Olas Riverfront Stadium. To date Ramírez is 16-6 in 33 starts with a 3.61 ERA and has 257 strikeouts in 197 innings. |
