July's Pitcher of the Month Goes to Fernández Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 The Pitcher of the Month Award has been announced and the Southern League winner is West Virginia hurler, Ramiro Fernández. For his fine efforts in July he has been named the league's #1 pitcher. During the month, Fernández excelled with a 2.59 ERA and 3 wins and 1 loss. In 48.2 innings he struck out 52 and gave up 38 hits and 14 walks. Thus far this season, Fernández has worked 152 innings with 140 strikeouts en route to a 6-13 record and a 4.97 ERA. |
