Star of the Week Awarded in PCL Monday, July 3rd, 2023 Walla Walla All-Stars second baseman Santiago Vallés rose above the controversy surrounding his soon-to-expire contract, thriving under pressure last week and copping the Player of the Week award in the Pacific Coast League. Vallés put up a .556 batting average (10-for-18) with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 8 times. Currently Vallés is batting .308 with 5 home runs and 15 RBIs. |
