Nalasco Bashes 5 Base Hits Wednesday, June 28th, 2023 Players get multihit games all the time. But a 5-hit game comes around only once in a blue moon. It happened at Arrowhead Stadium when Enrique Nalasco of District 9 scattered 5 hits all over the ballpark against the Las Vegas Stars. He walloped 5 hits in 6 at-bats in his career-day performance to help the Prawns get by the Stars 9-2. In a talkative and jovial mood after the game, the left fielder of the Prawns said, "Whoa, my swing was really, really there today. I made some good, sweet-spot contact and when that happens... good things happen... like 5-for-6. I could get used to a lot of days like this one." Enrique Nalasco struck out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. So far in 2023 Nalasco is batting .324 with 12 home runs, 38 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has 85 hits in 262 at-bats and a .390 OBP. |
