5-Hit Blitz by Bradley Sunday, September 10th, 2023 "It was like I was hitting little league pitching," said Cole Bradley after his 5-hit performance against the Missions. "No offense meant to San Jose, but it was like I was back in little league again. I could see the ball that well. But this wasn't a kid league park, it was Missions Ballpark." The Las Vegas third baseman had a fantastic day at the plate, knocking out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and pacing his club to a 12-6 victory. His manager elaborated after the game to the press, saying, "Cole worked the entire offseason on trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball and the hard work is paying off in base hits." "That's what I'm trying to do," Bradley said. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it." Cole Bradley singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This year Bradley is hitting .185 with 62 hits, 1 home run, 30 RBIs and has scored 41 runs. |
