Mile High Loses Hokusai Nakashima Sunday, July 30th, 2023 It took the Mile High team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Hokusai Nakashima won't simply play through a ruptured finger tendon after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Cerveceros-Broncos game. At first, it looked like Nakashima might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4 months. In 15 starts this season Nakashima has compiled a 0-2 record and a 4.74 ERA. |
