Trout Slayers Are Champs of International League South Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 The Tuscaloosa Trout Slayers have crushed the competition in the International League South and today it became official - the team has clinched the division crown. "You never want to let off the throttle, no many how many games you are up in the standings," said catcher Victor Andrews. "We knew it was our division to win, but you never know what will happen until it's official." The Tuscaloosa have been the class of the division this season and with a 86-58 record thus far can lay claim to their 15th division crown. The club's manager has gotten a lot of credit for preparing his team for the season. "I think it's safe to say it's ITL Championship or bust at this point," Yu-eh Kwan said. |
