Salas Gets 6 Hits Thursday, August 24th, 2023 6 hits in 6 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Rafael Salas of the Otsego Bulldogs had a sensational game against Portland at East End Park. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 24-4 shellacking of the Privateers. In the postgame press conference he joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did ,it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off. Right, skipper?" Rafael Salas hit a two-run home run off Steven de Vos in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Salas is currently hitting at a .334 pace with 15 home runs and 91 RBIs. |
