Wright Goes 5-for-6 Against Amarillo Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 Otsego first baseman Jacob Wright really lit up the Amarillo Archdukes with a 5-hit barrage today at The Lair in Charlotte -- a performance that sparked the Bulldogs to a 20-2 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Jacob Wright singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Edgardo Conteraras in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and walked in the 9th. Wright is presently hitting at a .442 pace with 15 home runs, 45 RBIs and has scored 45 times. |
