Baffin Island Advances to BSA Championship Saturday, October 21st, 2023 The Baffin Island Beavers have eliminated the Niagara Falls Frenzy and are off to the BSA Championship. Baffin Island won the final game by a 7-4 score and thus clinched the series 4-2. "We think this is our year, but we're taking in one game at a time," said Lorenzo Villa, who was named series MVP. For the series, Villa hit .409 with a .417 on-base percentage. He drove in 9 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Baffin Island Beavers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Jersey Shore D-Bags - Greenville 84s series. Greenville leads the series 3 games to 2. The BSA Championship schedule will be announced after the League Championship finishes. |
