SP Hiroshige Yamada Hurt

It was announced today in Greenville that 84s starting pitcher Hiroshige Yamada will be on the mend for 9 months because of a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament he sustained in a recent game against the Jersey Shore D-Bags. Yamada was injured throwing a pitch.
So far this year Yamada has made 33 starts, tossed 204.2 innings, struck out 221 batters and walked 36. His record is 19-5 with a 2.73 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .237 batting average.
