Kansas City's Vic Robertson Suffers Setback Saturday, September 9th, 2023 The Kansas City Kings received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Vic Robertson would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Robertson, who is currently out with an intercostal strain, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 30-year-old left fielder will have to spend another 2 weeks in treatment. This season Robertson is swinging the bat at a .231 rate with 98 hits in 424 at-bats. To date he has hit 22 home runs, scored 59 runs and driven in 66. |
