Chávez Holds New Orleans Scoreless Thursday, September 7th, 2023 Mario Chávez of the Vista Panthers was masterful today, pitching a 3-hit 6-0 shutout against the New Orleans Looters and giving his bullpen a rest by going the distance. According to his manager, "He had command of every ball and every pitch... great location, too." Chávez had 11 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in an impressive outing. On the year Chávez has compiled a 14-11 mark with a 3.65 ERA. |
