Brown Blisters Kansas City Monday, September 4th, 2023 After the Boston 12-1 victory over Kansas City and his 5-hit day third baseman Ronnie Brown told BNN beat writers, "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college ball, two hits in a game are very good. Three or four hits even better, five or more are out of sight ... and if it is in pro ball, it is really something special." The 27-year-old player gained that distinction today at The Throne Room with a spectacular 5 for 5 game against the Kansas City Kings. The skipper of the Rebels spoke glowingly of Brown, telling BNN writers, "His swing is getting there. We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Ronnie did that to perfection today." Ronnie Brown doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 7th. Thus far this year Brown is batting .331 with 3 home runs, 58 RBIs and 86 runs scored. |
