Super Swinger -- Díaz Slams 5 Hits Monday, September 4th, 2023 At Michigan & Trumbull Enzo Díaz was the King of Swing today in the 19-11 win over the Gang Green. The Greenville third baseman stepped into the batter's box 5 times against the Irvine and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 5 for 5! It does wonders for your batting average, too." Enzo Díaz singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jung Chwa in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 7th. Díaz is presently hitting at a .356 pace with 23 home runs and 76 RBIs. He has played in 83 games and scored 80 times. |
