Tropics Lose Rojas for 5 Weeks Sunday, August 13th, 2023 Juan Jose Rojas of the Maui Tropics was injured in today's game against Irvine and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is an intercostal strain and he is expected to be out for up to 5 weeks. It happened while Rojas was colliding with a player at home plate. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Rojas is batting .336 this year with 18 home runs, 71 RBIs and 70 runs scored. He has 147 hits in 437 at-bats. |
