Wild Card Clinched by Coweta HS Saturday, May 13th, 2023 It wasn't quick or easy for the Coweta HS Tigers, but they have clinched a berth in the postseason. While they couldn't capture the High School Stars League Western Division crown, the club has cinched up a wild card berth late in the season. "You come close to not getting a chance in the postseason and it starts to worry you," said third baseman Héctor Vázquez. "This is a huge relief for our guys and we're going to celebrate it." The team will be looking for its 1st High School Stars League championship. |
