Oliver Ames HS Narrowly Wins High School Stars League Eastern Division Saturday, May 13th, 2023 The Oliver Ames HS Tigers have held off the opposition and are High School Stars League Eastern Division champions. It was certainly no easy task as the club had a tough challenge for the division crown throughout the year, but in the end they have prevailed for the franchise's 3rd division title. "You can't get complacent when the standings are as close as they are, so our guys have been pretty focused," manager Félix Martínez said of his team's triumph. "We're going to celebrate this one, that's for sure." The club will be going for its 2nd HS Title Round and optimism is running high. "Why not us? We can certainly win this thing," said catcher Adrián López. |
