Celtics Lose Chris Boone Monday, May 8th, 2023 It took the Dublin Jerome HS team doctor a while to realize it, but second baseman Chris Boone won't simply play through a strained hip muscle after he got hurt running the bases in today's Spanish Fork HS-Celtics game. At first, it looked like Boone might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 6 months. Boone is currently batting .373 with 3 home runs, 27 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 57 hits in 153 at-bats. |
