HSSL's Top Pitcher in April Is Romero Monday, May 1st, 2023 April's best hurler was Sergio Romero of H.H. Dow HS. He overwhelmed HSSL hitters all month long and captured the Pitcher of the Month award as he collected a 5-0 record in 6 starts. The 17-year-old Romero added 30 strikeouts in 33 innings and 13 walks to his season record and compiled a 1.36 ERA. Other clubs hit .186 against him. |
