Dennis McConnell Sidelined for 4-5 Months Monday, April 10th, 2023 The Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central HS Trojans learned that Dennis McConnell is likely to be out for 4-5 months after he injured himself running the bases in today's game against the Shelby HS Rockets. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a broken hand. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central HS manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Dennis is back in action." On the season, McConnell is batting .366 with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs. He has played in 9 games. |
